Going Back to Glacier

As I sit in a room in the city tall and gray.
Well it seems it’s been such a long time
Since I set by a stream in the forest, tall and green,
Just to hear the wind sing to the pines.

And I’m a going back to Glacier,
And the voice that’s calling me is strong.
Going back to Glacier,
Where the nighttime don’t drag on so long.

'Cause the streets here are filled up with traffic, so damn loud
That the noise is hurtin my ears.
And I want to go back, to my mountain tall and white
Where the river starts flowin sweet and clear

'Cause I want to be healthy and happy as I can
And to live where the livin is good.
And I know, I would feel so much better by far
If I just could get home to my woods

And I’m a going back to Glacier
And the voice that’s calling me is strong
Going back to Glacier,
Where the nighttime don’t drag on so long.
